Angela’s Story, Don’t Text & Drive And Hope Family Services Winners.
Salt & Light Productions announced they received six Telly Awards for three videos they created: Angela’s Story, Don’t Text & Drive, and Hope Family Services.
Telly Awards are issued annually to honor the very best film and video productions, groundbreaking online video content, and outstanding local, regional and cable television commercials and programs. With these six new arrivals, Salt & Light Productions has won a total of 43 Telly Awards.
The Hope Family Services video documented the stories of several women who survived domestic violence with the help of the Manatee County non-profit organization of the same name. The compelling and emotional stories helped earn the piece a Silver Telly Award in the category of Social Responsibility and a Bronze Telly Award for Cause Marketing. Angela’s Story, a short video about a homeless woman’s struggle to find better employment and create a new life for herself, earned two Bronze Telly Awards in the categories Social Responsibility and Cause Marketing. Watch Angela’s Story HERE [2].
The Don’t Text & Drive video was significant for Salt & Light Productions in a number of ways. Besides being their first animated presentation, it has also garnered the largest audience of any of their pieces. At last count, it has been viewed around the world on Facebook more than 15 million times. It won two Bronze Telly Awards; one for Cause Marketing and one for 3D Graphics & Animation.
