On December 10th from 9am-9pm PINC returns to Sarasota for a day dedicated to Innovation, Inspiration, and Creativity! PINC.Sarasota 2015 will take the town by storm again this year. This one-day event, presented by the Ringling College of Art + Design, will take place at the Sarasota Opera House, with an entirely new roster of international speakers, astounding intermezzos and culinary delights. Last November, at the inaugural PINC.Sarasota Conference, the founder of Vertical Farming explained the importance of looking up, while the Director of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute showed us what lies beneath.
The first doctor to perform a hand transplant told us about new advances in limb regeneration and a Director at Nickelodeon donned a full corduroy jumpsuit to oh-so-dryly explain how launching the Corduroy Appreciation Club improved his life.
The spectrum of speakers on PINC’s stage varied from glass blowers to arctic explorers and a slew of incredible topics in between. Marry those topics with surprise intermezzos including extreme feats of strength, Gouda straight from the Motherland, caviar bites and a jazz routine by a local, junior dance company and you will only have scratched the surface of what constituted the inaugural PINC.Sarasota.
