The 2014 Mission Foods Championship winning 2010 GT3 2010 Porsche 997 (a 3.8 liter cup racing car) driven by REAL Exclusive cover feature, Steve White [1], is for sale. White started and ended the season at Sebring International Raceway, winning both times. “Years of coaching with LP Dumoulin (2014 Canadian NASCAR Champion) and practice is finally paying dividends, but there are many unsung heroes including my chief mechanic, Ryan Uhrinec, and all the guys that help keep us on track,” White shares.
The 2010 997 GT3 Cup Car is based on the 911 GT3 RS. Power comes from a horizontally-opposed 3.8-liter six cylinder engine that produces 450 hp. It includes a 1.7” wider rear body and 67” rear wing (from 911 GT3 Cup S race car). Weighing just 2,646 lb, the car is outfitted with light-alloy 18-inch wheels, a fully controlled catalytic converter, a special racing exhaust system, adjustable front and rear anti-roll bars, and optional ceramic composite brakes that weigh 44 lbs less than traditional composite cast brakes.
