Princeton Review Once Again Honors New College

New College One Of The Nation’s Best Colleges.

The New College of Florida campus ranks No. 1 in the United States as “Easiest Campus to Get Around,” according to The Princeton Review’s just-released and popular college guide — and that’s far from the best thing it has to say about New College. Once again, the Princeton Review’s “The Best 380 Colleges” has praised New College’s excellent academics and faculty, available at a low cost to families.

“The combination of NCF’s incredibly low tuition and rigorous, individualized academic program make it a tremendous value for both in-state and out-of-state students,” the Review’s authors write.

The Princeton Review’s 2016 guide does not provide an overall ranking of the 380 colleges, but assembles data from each college to rate them in several categories. New College scored 94 out of 100 overall for academics.

Other categories are scored based on student surveys. New College rated 97 out of 100 for “interesting professors” and 91 out of 100 for “accessible professors.”

The guide also offers profiles of the colleges in areas such as academics, campus life and student body based on student surveys

The guide also includes 62 ranked top-20 lists in a variety of categories, such as “Easiest to Get Around,” where New College ranked first. New College also ranked fourth for “Most Politically Active Students,” 11th for “Most Liberal Students” and 12th for “Most LGBTQ Friendly.”

The release of The Princeton Review’s 2016 guide follows its February report on “Colleges That Pay You Back,” which also named New College as one of the country’s top values in higher education.

It also follows recent ratings by Forbes magazine and the Fiske Guide to Colleges, which also named New College as one of the country’s best education values. Princeton Review Names New College as One of Nation’s Best Colleges
