Lido Beach Cleanup Effort A Success.
Suncoast Charities for Children recently partnered with Friends of Sarasota County Parks and the Surfrider Foundation for a weekend cleanup on a Lido Beach. This year over 30 volunteers turned out and showed their support on keeping our area beaches clean.
“This is an annual effort going on now for several years that we want to continue in partnership with Friends of Sarasota County Parks and the Surfrider Foundation and we hope to encourage more volunteers to get involved next year”, said Lucy Nicandri, Executive Director for Suncoast Charities for Children. An “after party” was held after hosted by the Daiquiri Deck on St. Armands Circle.
