Come Support Susie Bruce and Barbara Ann Robinson In Their Battle Against Ovarian Cancer.
Susie Bruce and Barbara Ann Robinson are two young women battling ovarian cancer. This is Susie’s 2nd bout and Barbara’s 3rd with ovarian cancer. Susie and Barbie have battled for their lives with Ovarian Cancer for the past 4 years. Their medical bills are astronomical and neither of these special women are able to work anymore to support themselves. Barbie also has a teenage son she fears she may be leaving to complete his last year of high school without her support and guidance, she wants desperately to leave him a little seed money to get started into college. And Susie is fighting with the insurance companies because she doesn’t quite qualify for public assistance with all her medical bills.
The benefit is at the White Buffalo Saloon on September 13th from Noon-6:00pm. There will be a cash bar, set menu, 4 live bands starting at 1:00 pm (MacDaddy, John Reece Project, Twinkle, Democracy Reggae), silent auctions, Chines raffles, and other raffles.
There also is a Poker Run, “The Big O Run”. Registration begins 10am and the run begins and ends at the White Buffalo Saloon. The run visits Linksters North, Woody’s River Roo, Motorworks Brewery, Bearded Clam and O’Leary’s Tiki Bar.
