New College Hosts 37th Annual Clambake.
Get ready to slip on a pair of topsiders or wedges, gaze upon a stunning Sarasota Bay sunset, and crack into a savory lobster. The New College Foundation is hosting the 37th Annual Old-Fashioned New England Clambake, benefitting New College of Florida, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, on the New College Bayfront.
The event traditionally is a major source of support for scholarships for New College students, many of whom will be on hand to discuss what the scholarships and New College mean to them.
The meal, including Maine lobster, New England clam chowder, ribs and chicken, is provided by Michael’s On East.
