LAST CHANCE – Historic Spanish Point’s Down The Rabbit Hole.
Follow the White Rabbit as Historic Spanish Point sets the stage for Party at the Point — Down the Rabbit Hole [1] — the museum’s annual fund-raising gala, to be held Friday, November 20th, from 6:08 p.m. until eternity. Enjoy an evening of dining, dancing and entertainment on the museum’s White Cottage lawn, Pergola and Sunken Garden. The event will benefit Osprey’s historical, environmental, and archeological outdoor museum on Little Sarasota Bay.
From the moment guests arrive, they’ll be immersed in Wonderland, complete with Alice, the Mad Hatter, White Rabbit and more. A photo booth and other silliness will add to the fun. Local band, Pocket Change, will provide the music. Known for its showmanship and hard driving rhythms, the band plays a variety of funk, R&B, soul, Motown and dance party sounds. There also is a caviar, featuring Black Opal caviar, and vodka bar. Hello Gorgeous is running the photo booth and Hookah Girl Catering is manning the hookah bar. Michael’s On East is catering the event.
Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on several exciting, luxurious items and packages. So grab your mate and don’t be late. Doors open at 6:08. Ticket prices are $200 per person and $300 per person for patrons. For reservations, call Mary Heck at (941) 966-5214, ext. 2500.
