Suncoast Charities For Children Needs YOUR Support!
On February 1st at 6pm join those in support of continuing Thunder by the Bay at the scheduled Sarasota City Commission meeting at City Hall, 1565 First Street, Sarasota. There is significant opposition to continuing the festival from the City.
An informal, non-scientific, survey conducted after the festival by Downtown Economic Development Coordinator, Norm Gollub, paints a picture those opposing Thunder want to see.
The total estimated economic impact of out-of-county attendees and donors to the 2016 Thunder by the Bay was $8,883,700. This was derived from a formal, scientific, survey the charity conducts each year (Click HERE [1] to see the report).
We need three minutes of your time to reiterate to the City Leaders why Thunder should stay on Main Street next year and beyond. Plan to arrive fifteen minutes early to sign in.
