In a special meeting the Sarasota City Commissioners unanimously approved the 19th Annual Thunder by the Bay remaining in its current location of lower Main Street.

Thunder by the Bay raises over $150,000 annually for special needs clients locally thanks to Suncoast Charities for Children and generates an economic impact of over $8 million and 6,000 room nights.
Suncoast Charities for Children and Thunder by the Bay had no knowledge of this practical joke, but this still is a serious matter. The city commission is set to vote on Thunder by the Bay at the April 18th commission meeting. Show your support by visiting www.thunderby thebay.org [1]
