Williams Parker Shareholder Selected For 2016 Leadership Institute

Gulf Coast Community Foundation Selects Richard Lawrence.

Richard C. Lawrence, a shareholder with the law firm of Williams Parker, was recently selected to participate in the Gulf Coast Community Foundation 2016 Leadership Institute. Lawrence will join 25 aspiring and experienced community leaders from across the region to participate in an intensive, two-month leadership development program led by faculty from the nationally recognized J. W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development, a public service unit of the University of Georgia.

Lawrence is board certified in real estate law. He counsels developers, landlords, tenants, and lenders in a wide range of commercial real estate matters. He is experienced in all aspects of commercial development; acquisition and sale of vacant land, office buildings, apartment buildings, hotels, shopping centers, and other commercial and residential properties; acquisition, sale, and financing of loan portfolios; forming and representing limited liability companies, general and limited partnerships, and joint ventures; sale-leaseback transactions; representing REITs; ground leasing and ground leasehold financing; and contractor, architect, broker, and management agreements.
