The Hyatt Regency Hosts The Eco Friendly Florida Fest.
Bring your whole family to the biggest gathering of green and sustainable resources that our community has to offer, located at the stunning Hyatt Regency Sarasota.
There is over 10,000 sq’ of vendor and educational space that is 100% free to the public. There are also continuous classes every day from businesses and individuals that promote eco-sustainable, organic, safe and healthy living.
From homeopathic remedies and organic farming to solar energy and greener ways to build a home, Eco-Friendly Florida Fest is the one stop shop for your family to learn how to go green and be more sustainable. Kids will learn how to recycle and why its important while adults learn about products that could decrease their carbon footprint and maybe even save a little money in the process.
There will also be field trips to places such as Sarasota County Emergency Management and Everglades University Sustainability Programs.
Eco Friendly Florida Fest is being sponsored by the Florida Environmental Health Association (FEHA) who is holding their 68th annual education meeting at the event. FEHA is comprised of environmental health professionals from the DOH, DEP, FDPR and also private industry.
FEHA is a non-profit group of over 500 professionals interested in protecting and promoting the health and safety of Florida’s residents and visitors. Their mission is “To enhance the professional integrity, knowledge, and working conditions of the environmental health professional, as well as to promote the social and economic conditions of its members.”
