Mother-Daughter Team Open Purify.
Owners, Sandy and Samantha Albano, have opened Purify [1], an Urban Sweat Lodge. Purify is located at 533 South Pineapple Avenue, Sarasota, FL 34236.
Purify is a place to cleanse your body and clear your mind.
Why sweat?
The natural light of the FAR infrared bedding warms and detoxifies the body down to the cellular level while sweating out the heavy metals, toxins and pathogens that have accumulated over time. It also strengthens the immune system, eases migraines, increases blood circulation, enhances quality of sleep, reduces stress, eases joint pain and burns between 600-1,200 calories per 50-minute session.

Sandy Albano, relocated from NY over twenty years ago where she owned and sold a Merle Norman Cosmetic Studio. For the past seven years, Sandy has been the Executive Director of the Taylor William Emmons Memorial Foundation benefitting Taylor Emmons Scholarship Fund raising $2.4M to date. The Taylor Emmons Scholarship Fund provides opportunities for socio-economically diverse students to experience an independent, college preparatory education at The Out-of-Door Academy. She is ecstatic to now be embarking on this new endeavor with her daughter and enhancing people’s lives in a new light!
Samantha Albano is an Out-of-Door Academy graduate, class of 2013, with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in marketing and a minor in theatre from Merrimack College in N. Andover, MA. She also played for Merrimack College’s Woman’s Division II NCAA volleyball team. After six months of conducting serious research into existing businesses in LA., Samantha was able to envision the concept of Purify to enhance those interested in maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. “The FAR Infrared Bed provides therapeutic heat that penetrates through your skin, put on your favorite show, meditate, or listen to your own device while enjoying your 50 minutes of your relaxation time. I am so excited to have you come in and try it for yourself!”, says Samantha.
