StatMed Urgent Care Center [1] is a step above the typical Urgent Care Walk-In Clinic. The ER trained and experienced staff routinely handles what normally one thinks of as a “need to go to the emergency room” for treatment.
Founded by Mark Muller, a first responder medical specialist, whose background spans ground responding as a Paramedic with Collier County EMS to aerial response as a Flight Paramedic with New York State Police, precise analytical protocols are the norm.
That’s why StatMed evaluates and treats a variety of the more complex illnesses generally reserved for the Emergency Room. Medical proficiency results in StatMed transfering less than 1% of their patients to an Emergency Room.
