The Ringling Introduces Gardens Walking Tour. This walking tour will introduce you to interesting botanical specimens on the estate while providing a historic overview of the development of the estate. The Ringling Arboretum has over 2350 trees within the arboretum representing native, exotic, historical, and culturally significant trees. Garden Tours are offered on Mondays at 1:00-2:30 PM. The tour is 90 minutes in length and covers approximately 1 mile. We encourage visitors to bring bottled water, and wear appropriate footwear, preferably closed-toe, sunblock, and hats. Sarasota Youth Opera Presents Historic Children’s Opera. Sarasota Youth Opera presents a revival of their acclaimed production of Brundibár by Hans Krása at 7 pm on Friday, November 15 and Saturday, November 16, 2019. Originally performed by children at the Theresienstadt concentration camp during WWII, this allegorical tale has three heroes — a sparrow, a cat and a very wise dog — helping two children raise the money needed to save their ailing mother, despite the evil organ grinder Brundibár.
