As Co-Chair I encourage you to join us June 30th at the Sarasota Yacht Club from 6-10pm as we KICK OFF the 31st Annual Sarasota Powerboat Grand Prix week. Proceeds from this event benefit Suncoast Charities for Children. Other than the golf tournament, on June 27th at the Meadows Country Club, these are the only two events that raise money for the charity. Sarasota Yacht Club Children’s Summer Camp. Sarasota Yacht Club, a private, year-round yacht club that serves both yachting and social members, is holding summer camp for children ages 5-16.
50th Anniversary Gala Event To Benefit Children First. On May 8, 2010 the Sarasota Yacht Club will host Moonlight Regatta, a dinner and dancing fundraising event to benefit Children First. The event begins at 6:30pm with cocktails and a silent auction.
The Sarasota Yacht Club To Host Camacho Cigar Dinner. In September, 2008 the old Sarasota Yacht Club clubhouse was demolished. The new clubhouse is slated to open in March, 2010. Be one of the first to visit by attending the Maduro’s Cigar Bar Camacho Cigar Dinner on April 15, 2010, and meet Christian Eiroa of Camacho cigars.
