2nd Annual WinterFest At Lakewood Music Festival. The second annual WinterFest at Lakewood Ranch Music Festival takes place February 28, 2015 at the Premier Sports Campus on Post Road. This festival promises to bring some of the best talent in music and deliver something for everyone with this mixed genre event. The music starts at 1:00pm, gates open at 12 noon. Four-time Grammy-winning Doobie Brothers with 3 multi-platinum, 7 platinum, 14 gold albums and more than 30 million album sales will join the lineup at Winterfest. Winterfest Music Festival Enters 2nd Year. Winterfest 2015 will be held February 28, 2015 at Lakewood Ranch’s Premier Sports Campus on Post Road in Lakewood Ranch. The music festival, in its second year, will feature top-shelf national and local musical acts of all different types. This year, the gates open at noon and music starts at 1 p.m. Festival-goers should bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. The Palmetto-based Del Couch Music Education Foundation will be a Winterfest beneficiary. Winterfest Final Music Lineup Announced. Winterfest announces the lineup scheduled to appear at the March 29 day-long celebration of music at the Premier Sports Campus at Lakewood Ranch. The show includes Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band, Kansas, the Atlanta Rhythm Section, Rick Derringer, Jeff Cook and the Allstar Goodtime Band, Marty Balin, Ty Herndon, Billy Dean, Les Sabler, Bertie Higgins and Hotel California.
