They all connect to a term you see thrown around a lot lately. Across headlines – print and digital – the buzz is about “entrepreneurs.” So what’s all the interest in this word that spell check loves?

Selling a Home? Choose Your Marketing Partner Carefully By Patricia Tan A marketing partner? Why not a REALTOR® In my experience, a home is more likely to sell quickly, and for a higher price when there is a spirit of partnership between the seller and their REALTOR®. Each has their own role to play. The seller must provide access to their home and present it in the best possible way, based upon advice given by their real estate professional. While a REALTOR® has a very long list of duties associated with listing and selling a home, probably the most important […]

How Do You Know What The Real Estate Is Really Worth? By William Henry PhD Design and Construction Due Diligence Can Provide a More Accurate Answer. MAI Appraisals Mostly Take the Past and Project It Forward. Practice and logic over the years has established that market value is a product of both demand and availability or scarcity of a good. Without going into a treatise concerning valuations, as an architect I sometimes have become very frustrated about the practice of appraising. This stems from my belief that appraisers may not take into account intrinsic, latent, and opportunity based value in […]

The Gulf Coast Venture Forum By Sara Hand Photo by Lori Sax We already know that Southwest Florida (SWFL) is a great place to retire. Yet more than just a place to retire, golf and fish; SWFL has also become a place where entrepreneurs looking for quality lifestyle are choosing to build their businesses and choosing to relocate. With many of these companies at an early stage of development and often pre-revenue, they may not yet be headliners for news. However, in an economic climate that becomes more and more entrepreneur friendly, it won’t be long before they do become […]

The New Porsche Boxster By Fred Krasne It’s hard to believe that 15 years have passed since the introduction of the Porsche Boxster. It has been a design classic, a powerful mid-engine sports car whose heritage was inspired by the Spyder 550 that placed Porsche on the racing map back in 1953 at the Panamericana races in Mexico, a grueling 2,200 mile road race through Mexico. The 550 was called the “giant killer” beating out other race cars with larger engines and winning it’s small displacement class.

Tips For Better Make Up By Sheila Venancia FOUNDATION Don’t wear the same foundation with a summer tan as you would in the winter. Skin color changes with the seasons, so your foundation should change, too. For the most professional application, use your fingertips or a triangle sponge to apply foundation. Also try foam wedges—the smooth surface strokes on evenly, the tapered edge blends make-up into tough to reach spots like corners between the eye and nose.
