Gulf Coast Community Foundation Awards Arts Appreciation Grant. Florida Studio Theatre was awarded a $45,000 Arts Appreciation Grant from the Gulf Coast Community Foundation. The foundation’s Arts Appreciation grants provide unrestricted funding to cornerstone arts and cultural organizations in the region to help them pursue their artistic missions. “Florida Studio Theatre has produced high-quality contemporary theatre for over 45 years, and with the Gulf Coast Community Foundation’s generosity, we will be able to continue to generate top-notch work for a vast audience at a fraction of the standard price,” shared Producing Artistic Director Richard Hopkins.

They are now seeking artists for their December 2019/January 2020, February 2020/March 2020, and May 2020/June 2020 slots. You must have enough art created to exhibit in at least half the space. American Alliance of Museums Bestows Accreditation. Historic Spanish Point once again achieved accreditation by the American Alliance of Museums (AAM). AAM is the highest national recognition afforded the nation’s museums. Accreditation represents excellence in museum policies, practices and public accountability. Historic Spanish Point opened to the public in 1982, and first achieved AAM accreditation in 2002. Accredited museums must maintain the highest standards and undergo periodic accreditation reviews.
