Columbia Restaurant Gives Back Community Harvest Support Suncoast Charities for Children when dining at any Columbia Restaurant by mentioning Community Harvest and selecting Suncoast Charities for Children as the recipient of your donation during the month of September. Through this annual September program, Community Harvest, the Columbia Restaurant donates 5% of all guests’ lunch and dinner checks in the form of gift certificates to charitable organizations chosen by the guests. Andy Warhol’s 92nd Birthday Andy Warhol (born Andrew Warhola) was born August 6, 1928, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Rusyn (Ukrainian) immigrants from Mikova (northeastern Slovakia). Warhol was sick throughout most of his childhood and as a result, spent much of his time alone in his bed. He later credited much of his personality and skills to this time in his life, which he spent drawing and collecting pictures of movie stars. 28,000 GoDaddy Hosting Accounts Compromised On May 4, 2020, GoDaddy, one of the world’s largest website hosting providers, disclosed that the SSH credentials of approximately 28,000 GoDaddy hosting accounts were compromised by an unauthorized attacker. SSH, while extremely secure if configured correctly, can allow logins with either a username/password combination, or a username and a public/private key pair. It is unclear which of GoDaddy’s hosting packages were affected by this breach.

2020 Sarasota Powerboat Grand Prix Postponed

Coronavirus/COVID-19 And The City Of Sarasota Force Shutdown Of Annual Powerboat Races Organizers for the 36th Annual Sarasota Powerboat Grand Prix, originally scheduled for June 26-28, have announced the race will not be held as originally planned and look to possibly rescheduling the race later this year pending CDC, state, and local government guidelines. The City of Sarasota advised organizers recently that they are temporarily postponing all upcoming events until further notice. Follow event updates HERE. It is the publishers understanding that the City of Sarasota will not allow any events until October 1, 2020 at this time.

2020 Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance. Who Took The Honors? A 1929 Duesenberg J-218 Town Limousine and 1973 Porsche 917/30 Can-Am Spyder were crowned this year’s Best in Show at the 25th annual Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance. In celebration of the event’s Silver Anniversary, the concours featured a special “homecoming” of alumni honorees. At the center of the celebration was famed racer, team owner and international businessman, “The Captain” Roger Penske.
