Suncoast Charities For Children Thunders. Suncoast Charities for Children announced that 2014’s Thunder by the Bay raised over $150,000 for the charity. For our community the direct and indirect overall economic impact of the Motorcycle Festival was calculated at $7.4 Million (an 8.7% increase from 2013) and generated 5,400 room nights in area lodgings (up from 2,900 in 2013). Suncoast Charities for Children has constructed over $14 Million in facilities (totaling 73,000 square feet) serving children with special needs.
