From the Publisher – November 2008
A dream becomes a vision. A vision becomes reality.
Was it a labor of love, or, a love of labor?
I believe both. Welcome the arrival of REAL Magazine, All Things Real Estate. It’s about and for those dedicated to our real estate community.
Personally I want to express my gratitude to those involved in bringing REAL to market. Some toiled unseen in the background helping move the publication forward. Additional individuals assisted creating and delivering the beautiful journal you have in hand. Others grace the pages of this magazine as sponsors and featured guests. Needless to say new business relationships formed and as a result friendships emerged. Together we made REAL Magazine happen.
Why were we able to launch REAL Magazine when some said it couldn’t be done?
First, it’s our guiding principal embodied in REAL’s mission statement:
To foster a community of individuals and firms working together for a common objective; furthering each other’s business.
Second, progressive organizations and resourceful agents are looking for creative ways to grow their business in this shifting market. Those are the firms adopting REAL Magazine as a component of their strategy.
In other words if you are a:
Broker we communicate your value proposition to prospective agents and customers.
REALTOR we provide exposure and trade endorsed branding tools for your listing kit.
Builder or developer we educate REALTORS and the community on your product.
Business partner or an affiliate we illustrate what you do or offer the real estate community and consumers.
When you are surfing the Web please visit www.the-real-magazine.com. You’ll find an electronic copy of this issue and more. It also provides background on REAL Magazine and how you can participate. While there, take time to visit the sponsors of the magazine. Please support them as they have made this a REALity!
In closing REAL Magazine continues my desire to help others. REAL’s partnership with the United Way’s REALTORS for Kids program ensures schooling for young children with hardships. It’s a very special program. You can learn more about REALTORS for Kids later in this issue. Consider getting involved and help support a child in need.
We’re here and part of the community.
Enjoy!
