Magazine Debuts at Mansion Showing

REAL Magazine, a business and lifestyle publication focused on the Sarasota and Manatee real estate markets, made its debut this month at a showing of an Osprey mansion.

Sarasota resident Ed Bertha is the publisher of the magazine, which features information on the area’s top Realtors, builders, developments and estates. It also features editorials from notable professionals in the market covering diverse topics.

“My mission is to be the voice of the real estate community in Sarasota,” Bertha said. “My whole concept is built on networking. I try to focus on the positive.”

Bertha’s free monthly circulation is about 11,000 mailed to Realtors, builders, developers and affluent consumers in the market.

Before “REAL Magazine” Bertha published “Broker Agent” Magazine, a trade journal for residential Realtors in the area.

The new magazine debuted during a showcase of the “Lodge of Osprey Woods,” which is on Blake Way just south of The Oaks.

The mansion sits on nearly two acres and features five bedrooms, seven bathrooms in the main house with a three-bedroom, three-bath guest house complete with a full-size racquetball court.
