February 6, 2009 The Roaring Twenties
The Roaring Twenties.
The roaring twenties took hold as publisher Ed Bertha and REAL Magazine’s networking group gathered on the third floor of the Orange Blossom Hotel for an evening networking event. Listed by Stacy Haas with Michael Saunders and Company the residence is truly one of a kind. Designed by Kurt Lucas and Ron Butine the unit holds true to representing the 1920 style of the historic building. Al Capone and the flapper girls weren’t present but great food by Fun With Food Catering, wine by Stanley Lambert Vinyards and a vodka bar from Szanelan Polish Vodka made for a fun and entertaining environment. Icard Merrills’ Anne Weintraub presented the group with her “Top Ten” and M&I Bank’s Meadow Tulio conducted a raffle. Surprising some, Chase veteran Penny Hill announced her move to Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. The February 6th event was the first evening event hosted by REAL Magazine and a good time was had by all.
