Ron Gordon Raises $5,500 For Humane Society.

Ron Gordon, an agent with Xena Vallone Realty, recently presented the Humane Society of Sarasota County with a check for $5,500. The money was raised from Gordon’s 5th Annual Humane Society Golf Tournament.

Held annually at the Bent Tree Country Club, this year’s event took place in the pouring rain. More than 80 dedicated animal lovers braved the weather to participate in raising money for the worthy cause.

The Humane Society provides abandoned pets with compassionate care and shelter, offers pet adoptions, affordable spay/neuter services, humane education and programs for seniors, children and those with special needs. Humane Society relies on community funding to pursue its mission of promoting responsible pet ownership and securing permanent homes for all adoptable animals.
