Displaying Rivera with Carabasi will be a very colorful, as well as exciting show. We are looking forward to displaying this thought-provoking and appealing work captured by these two seasoned artists.”
Carabasi is the Department Head of Photography and Digital Imaging at the Ringling College of Art + Design in Sarasota, Florida. Since 2001, I have felt the need to respond to the collisions of people, ideologies and cultures I see daily in the media and in my travels.”
The second artist is painter, printmaker and collage maker Gustavo Ramos Rivera. Born in Mexico he has emigrated to the U.S. in 1968 and works in San Francisco. His art has been exhibited extensively in private galleries, universities and public institutions throughout the world.
