The Backroom is a group committed to improve their communities through a series of short film festivals. The vision is to create a global “Backroom” in which people are affected in a positive way. The Festival is designed to showcase individuals who have an inspiring story, special skill or unique talent from which all benefit.
“We believe that in the future, there will be a greater desire for short films, and we will need the talent to make them. This is a film festival designed as a family friendly occasion with the movies rated PG or less.” said Paul Gruber, CEO The Backroom Short Film Festival.
The Backroom Short Film Festival of Sarasota will still accept film submissions for the March event but time is limited. Details are available at www.thebackroom.tv. Click here for a brochure.
