Lee Wetherington Homes Introduces Three New Models.
 
Lee Wetherington, founder and president of Lee Wetherington Homes has introduced a new design philosophy: flexibility. Responding to market changes and needs Wetherington has three models on the drawing board for 2010. Previously home builders introduced upwards of twenty different floor plans each year.

“These are our new plans for the new season,” Wetherington said. “We designed them with input from our customers, our sales staff and our other team members. We were very careful when we created these models. They are essentially three templates for three basic homes, beginning at 1,988 square feet. That’s just the right size for some of our homebuyers. For those who need more space, we can easily extend the plans without having to go back to the drawing board.”

Construction on the Mira Vista II model is scheduled for a mid-May completion in Valderrama, Country Club East, Lakewood Ranch, Florida. At 1,988 sq ft, the base Mira Vista II provides a master suite and private guest suite, a gathering room with dining area, den and kitchen with a countertop bar and eat-in area. This home has a two car garage. The model under construction also includes a sitting room off the master suite and a third bedroom, increasing its size to 2,334 sq ft, plus an expanded three-car garage. Pricing begins at $247,300.
 
The Sanibel is another new design with a great room plan. Providing two bedrooms, two baths and a den it is 1,989 sq ft. An optional third bedroom suite off the den brings the size of this home to 2,313 sq ft. This design includes a two car garage. The price for the Sanibel begins at $250,200.
 
The third new model, Summerpointe II, incorporates the best features of the original Summerpointe plus several other popular models. The basic design at 2,477 sq ft and includes three bedrooms, three baths, large gathering room, den and separate living and dining rooms. It includes a three car garage. The expansion for the Summerpointe II adds a fourth bedroom suite, bringing the home up to 2,614 sq ft. An outdoor living area is another option. Pricing begins at $312,300.
