Biological Tree Services Adds David Patterson And Frank Hammer.

Biological Tree Services (BTS) announced that David Patterson and Frank Hammer joined its’ Green Team.

Biological Tree Services is a leading specialty tree and landscape service provider. BTS offers alternative biologically based landscape maintenance solutions that were developed to optimize urban tree and landscape health. The company’s unique environmental philosophy provides sustainable methods to develop vibrant landscapes while reducing life cycle costs.

Patterson joins the company as the Field Operations Manager bringing over 25 years of experience from working at top ranked private golf clubs and landscapes in the state of Florida. His background specializes in identifying nutrient deficiencies in all types of turf grasses, detecting insect damage and recognizing harmful diseases within plant beds, turf, palms and trees. At BTS he will provide professional support and service for turf and landscapes.

Hammer joins as a certified arborist. He has worked in the Green Industry for 15 years and has maintained International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) certification since 2006. At BTS Hammer will specialize in getting to the “root of the problem” for trees focusing on working with the air knife, an arborist’s tool which allows full excavation of a tree’s roots without risking damage to the tree or buried utilities. In conjunction with this tool he will perform deep root soil injections, vertimulching, and other services that will contribute to the health and well being of trees.
