American Advertising Federation Presents Silver Medal Award Locally
Linda Gross Awarded The American Advertising Federation Silver Medal Award.
Linda Gross, owner of Advice Inc., was awarded the coveted Silver Medal Award by the American Advertising Federation – Suncoast at their recent meeting. The award, presented by AAF-Suncoast president Alice Fernandez, is given to an outstanding member of the local advertising community.
“It’s an honor to be recognized by one’s peers,” said Gross, the first female Silver Medal Award recipient in the Sarasota area. “This award is especially important to me, as it recognizes the time I’ve spent supporting advertising and adhering to high industry standards. As advertising product and media vehicles continue to become more fragmented every day, it’s challenging to create and place quality advertising, but we must in order to create appropriate exposure for our clients.” Gross also holds many gold and silver ADDY awards, and she was named “ADWoman Of The Year” in 1999.
The AAF AdFed Silver Medal Award Program, established in 1959, recognizes men and women who have made outstanding contributions to advertising and who have been active in furthering the industry’s standards, creative excellence, leadership within the community, and responsibility in areas of social concern.
Past recipients of the Silver Medal Award in attendance at the AAF-Suncoast event were: Jimmy Dean, Peter Paul and Nairn Gillet.
