DwellGreen Receives Sarasota County Job Stimulus Grant
DwellGreen Announces Completion of Angel Investment Round.
DwellGreen, a home performance evaluation and green retrofit project management firm announced the completion of an angel investment round totaling over $1,000,000. The amount includes a $250,000 job stimulus grant from Sarasota County.
DwellGreen’s team of building science professionals perform onsite home performance evaluations starting at $299. The evaluations serve to provide homeowners or prospective homeowners with a clear understanding of a dwelling’s current performance and deliver a clear roadmap of recommended improvements to effectively reduce the home’s operating costs including energy, water, and insurance. Each home’s specific recommendations are delivered to each client via DwellGreen’s Home Port, a private and secure web based portal. Each client portal provides extensive education on the rationale behind each recommendation, the optimal sequence of project completion based on the client’s stated priorities, and the ability to instantly generate multiple requests for estimates from leading local service providers, each of whom has been reviewed by DwellGreen with respect to licensing, insurance, and client satisfaction.
DwellGreen’s Chief Executive Officer John Ferrari stated, “We are pleased to have attracted the capital necessary to accelerate DwellGreen’s growth and to welcome some very accomplished entrepreneurs to our board of directors. We have developed a compelling offering that is vital for today’s market – we are experiencing good results and feedback in the Sarasota market and will now use these funds to expand our operations into the Tampa Bay region and across the nation. We are equally excited to have been recognized by Sarasota County as a key business catalyst and will specifically direct their generous grant towards the creation of additional local white collar green jobs to meet the needs of our rapidly growing client base.”
