Fourth Annual Warm Coats And Warm Hearts Drive Extended

One Warm Coat Benefits From Extended Charity Campaign.

Burlington Coat Factory, ABC’s Good Morning America, and non profit, One Warm Coat, have extended their 4th annual Warm Coats & Warm Hearts Drive through February 13, 2011, due to the unseasonably cool temperatures forecasted for most of the nation over the coming months.

Burlington Coat Factory worked with its partners to push back the deadline for local residents so they can continue to donate gently-worn coats at their local Burlington Coat Factory location. As a thank you, those who donate a coat will receive 10% off their entire purchase at Burlington Coat Factory.

All donated coats in Sarasota will stay in Sarasota and be distributed by Lighthouse Ministries to keep local children and adults in need warm this winter.

Customers may also make a donation to One Warm Coat at any Burlington Coat Factory checkout counter through February 13, with all funds going to keeping children warm throughout the winter.

Last year Burlington Coat Factory collected 220,000 coats (a 24% increase from 2009) and this year the plan is to surpass that and collect more than 250,000 coats.
