Gibraltar Homes Closes 2010 With 30 Contracts
Over $11 Million In Sales For Gibraltar Homes In 2010.
Gibraltar Homes posted a solid sales performance in 2010 by closing 30 contracts on new homes resulting in more than $11 million in sales.
“We have participated in a market that is improving,” said Albert Sanchez, president of Gibraltar Homes. “Our homes focus on luxury at all sizes and prices, and we’re attracting buyers who wish to design a home specifically for their tastes and style. Based on year-end activity and the first few weeks of this year, 2011 should be a good year. We are currently projecting 50-60 sales for our company in 2011.”
The year’s breakdown shows 14 contracts in Bougainvillea Place in Ellenton, 14 contracts in seven villages of Lakewood Ranch, 1 at the prestigious Legends Bay, and 1 on a privately owned home site. Prices ranged from $195,000 to a high of $750,000. The average sales price was $390,000, well above the area’s median home sale price of $168,000, as reported by the Manatee Association of Realtors. Projects ranged in size from 1,450 to 4,000 square feet.
