The doors open Friday, October 7, 2011, for a $10.00 concert at St Pete’s Jannus Live with Marty Balin, founding member of Jefferson Airplane.

Rock legend Marty Balin has christened his current show “The Music of My Life Tour.” A founding member of Jefferson Airplane, he also played with Jefferson Starship and subsequently has enjoyed a fruitful solo careers. His hits include White Rabbit, Somebody to Love, Miracles, Count on Me, Runaway and too many others to count.

A long-time Tampa resident, Balin will perform with a six-piece backing band, including two female vocalists, guitar, bass, drums and keys.

This is a very special First Friday show. Gates open at 8pm.
