Home Resource To Feature David Sedaris.

Bring a little comedy to your holiday season by attending a show written by David Sedaris, one of NPR’s and late night TV’s favorite satirists at Home Resource. This hysterical show, SantaLand Diaries, is a glimpse behind the magic of Santa and is performed by our own Sarasota Elf, Joey Panek.

The Santaland Diaries is based on the outlandish and true experiences that Sedaris had as Crumpet the Elf in New York City’s flagship Macy’s SantaLand display. The comedy tells what it takes to juggle tots and tottering Santas during a painfully festive time of the year. You’ll see the dark underbelly lurking beneath the fake snow and teddy bears – rivalry, intrigue, romance, a magic tree, mysterious jolly fat men and nasty bits. A laugh til you cry evening of merrily subversive entertainment.

The show is Thursday, December 15th, tickets are $15 and payment will be collected at the door. Proceeds from the show will go to the actor. For reservations, please email mbush@homeresource.com. Seating is very limited.
