Habitat For Humanity Sarasota Beneficiary Of Publix Benevolence
Habitat For Humanity Sarasota Receives $30,000 Grant.
Publix Super Markets Charities awarded Renee Snyder and Habitat for Humanity Sarasota a grant for $30,000. The funds will be used to construct a Habitat for Humanity Sarasota home in 2012. At the presentation were Terry Ball, Publix Super Markets; Renee Snyder, Habitat for Humanity Sarasota; and Shannon Patten, Publix Super Markets (left to right).
“This grant will keep on giving as the success of the homeowner transcends in many ways. Children’s grades and personal expectations for their own lives often improve when they move from an inadequate living situation into an affordable home. Habitat families gain not only equity, but also personal confidence and satisfaction from helping to build their own home while knowing the home will remain affordable for years to come,” said Snyder, Executive Director.
Thank you Publix for being a pillar in the many communities you serve!
