The Windsor Of Lakewood Ranch Expands Its Senior Care Campus
Construction Complete – Reflections At The Windsor Of Lakewood Ranch.
The Windsor of Lakewood Ranch, a senior living campus, announced construction is complete on its 40-residence dementia and memory care facility, Reflections at The Windsor of Lakewood Ranch. Unlike many memory care facilities, which often tend to feel more institutional than residential, Reflections was designed to be an activity- and experience-oriented residence with the same residential feel and finishes of its neighboring Windsor of Lakewood Ranch.
“As soon as we receive our final approvals from the state – probably by the beginning of June – we will be ready to offer new homes to our area’s families in need of the very special care we will provide,” said Paul Kivlehan, Reflection’s resident director.
The building is separated into two neighborhoods –Selby and Ringling – for a more intimate approach to care. Both neighborhoods reflect a tropical interior design with an open-air atrium and patio with seating, as well as dining room and café, activities area, living room, art studio, media room, and other comfortably finished smaller areas specifically designed for those with dementia. All suites are private with handicap-accessible bathrooms. A conference room in the main corridor will serve as a meeting area for Alzheimer’s support groups and other activities.
