Cobrooke To Design IDA Business Incubator/Accelerator

Hardee County Selects Cobrooke.
Sarasota based Cobrooke announced they were retained to design the Hardee County IDA business incubator/accelerator in Wachula, Florida. The production based incubator/accelerator is the most recent economic development project in Hardee County. The Industrial Development Authority is partnering with the Economic Development Authority to transform a currently blighted building into a space for entrepreneurs to grow their ideas. The facility will feature a functioning fill line that is capable to do various size runs, marketing specialist and ample room. The facility can meet multiple needs for entrepreneurs.
The goal of the incubator/accelerator is to take businesses and assist them from conception to functioning sustainable companies. The businesses then will be able to locate outside of the incubator/accelerator and flourish independently in Hardee County. Halfacre Construction is the general contractor for the project.
The 40,000 square foot former garden center will be completely renovated for multiple tenants and undergo an exterior renovation that transform the incubator into a Wachula landmark and a destination for entrepreneurs.
