This season I am excited to bring to Sarasota the Worth New York Fall Collection, inspired by travel, prep schools, and soft textures. Worth New York channeled Amelia Earhart’s military vibe to take a worldly trip, borrowed rep stripes from the boys, and knitted the softest cables in this collection.

What happens when strong meets gentle? When tailored modernity mixes with soft & pretty, and Tea Rose bumps up against Navy and Moss? When structure plays with flow, and throughout there’s an homage to the power and the pleasure of pearls? It becomes magic with Worth’s Pearls of Wisdom collection.

With graphic patterns − think colorblocks or pattern & solid mixes – and simple shapes, it’s not surprising that this nod to the 70s looks very “2018”, Neutrals like Camel and Black are popped with Stone Blue, Rust and Butterscotch. Then black show up on its own in the sexiest pieces with the New Wave collection.

The richer (in color, mix and texture) the better this fall. Classic tartan plaids mix with tigers, cheetahs and leopards. The shapes stay classic – to let us go a little wild with the mixing of colors and pattern. Merlot and Chocolate Chip get a jolt of Simply Red with this Scotch & Skin collection.
