Habitat For Humanity Welcomes The Kasselmanns. On Thursday September 10, 2015 at noon Habitat for Humanity Sarasota will dedicate a home to Denise Kasselmann and her family. In January 2015, volunteers began to replace the exterior siding, update the entire electrical system, install new energy star appliances and replace the landscaping. The home also includes a new air conditioning system and roof; new carpet and tile was also installed. Denise’s journey with Habitat Sarasota began in January 2014, she has provided 325 volunteer hours toward her “sweat equity” requirement. Kasselmann is thrilled to move into a house she can call […]

RE/MAX Alliance Group Cycles For Charity. RE/MAX Alliance Group agents and staff pedaled for a purpose recently to help raise money for Goodwill Manasota and Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee. As part of the Good Wheels Challenge, they took turns riding stationary bikes that were set up at the RE/MAX Alliance Group office on Manatee Avenue in Bradenton and the Webber Street office in Sarasota. Lido Beach Cleanup Effort A Success. Suncoast Charities for Children recently partnered with Friends of Sarasota County Parks and the Surfrider Foundation for a weekend cleanup on a Lido Beach.
