Equifax Data Breach Part II. Ashley Moody, Florida’s Attorney General, warns of new phishing scam targeting people victimized by the credit monitoring company, Equifax’s, previous data breach. The Equifax settlement set up a $425 million fund to help those affected by the 2017 data breach that impacted nearly half of all Americans. Now scammers are creating fake claim websites to gain access to personal information from Floridians.
