Real, Ritz & Ringling Event. On Friday, December 12th over 125 of Sarasota’s top real estate producers and industry affiliates came together to enjoy another outstanding REAL Magazine event. Ed Bertha and his team coordinated a marvelous day filled with networking, informative speakers, an educational trivia hunt and a spectacular property showcase. Hosted by The Ritz-Carlton Members Club, located on the lavish Lido Key, guests enjoyed the brisk yet beautiful Gulf of Mexico beach locale. Pamela Hughes, owner of Hughes Design Associates, detailed how the Ringling Museum influenced her design at The Ritz-Carlton Members Club. Dr. Larry Thompson, President of the Ringling College of Art and Design gave a passionate address to the group on the current vision and accomplishments of the university. Dr. John Wetenhall, Executive Director of the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art, provided a brilliant presentation on the diverse and unique collection of Ringling establishments which draws tourist and eventually residents to our area. An enticing buffet lunch was served on the terrace, and the meeting concluded with guided tours of the exclusive Ritz-Carlton Beach Club Residences. The Ritz-Carlton Members Club graciously raffled a round of golf for four, and a day at the beach club to two of the events lucky trivia hunt winners. The gathering was a glamorous mix of real business with glitzy pleasure.
