From The Publisher November 2009
Teamwork.
Twelve issues ago we began a journey to become the voice of Florida’s west coast real estate market. Along with everyone in the real estate sector we had our own challenges. We persevered, continued to find ways to create additional value for REAL’s sponsors and now can celebrate our first year of print and interactive publishing. With the continuing feedback we receive on the print edition and our ever increasing online readership we certainly can say REAL has arrived.
REAL’s success would not be possible without the support and dedication of the team that helped launch REAL Magazine. Every team member in the first issue is with us today. Teamwork requires a special chemistry among members and a desire as the Army states “to be the best you can be”.
I personally would like to acknowledge and thank the team that can celebrate their one year anniversary:
Tina Darling/Innovative Agent Services – REAL’s distribution and networking events are second to none.
Dianne McDivitt/Dimension Printing – Puts up with all the crazy “What if we did this?” and continually ensures the highest quality print publication gets in your hands.
Debbie Zaroba/Marketing & Design Services – What can I say? REAL Magazine just shines under her creative talent.
Tracy Eisnaugle – Always on time, a pleasure to work with and our keeper of a great attitude.
Lalaena Gonzalez-Figueora – What a special trait she has in getting the best stories out of people!
Chad Spencer/CMS Photography – Without his lens we wouldn’t have the “REAL” in REAL Magazine.
Melissa Fach/SEO Aware – Under her tutelage REAL’s search engine optimization leaves all other publications and web sites in the dust, hands down.
Last, behind the scenes is my wife and partner Cathy Bertha. She lives the business side of REAL Magazine. Cathy, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your patience, support and dedication to this business venture.
In closing when we began REAL Magazine part of our mission statement was to give back to the community. At times it would have been easy to not give back. I’m very proud to say we have not missed a beat each and every month shining the light on some worthy cause. As we enter the holiday season I urge you to look around and do the same. Someone out there needs you too.
Happy Holidays
Ed Bertha
