Neal Communities Forges Ahead with a New Storey
Michael Storey Hired as Building Division President.
To meet today’s home buyer demand and plan for Neal Communities’ anticipated growth in the local market, Pat Neal, President of Neal Communities, announced the appointment of Michael Storey as president of Neal Communities’ Building Division. “Mike’s strong leadership skills and success with home building, land acquisition, customer satisfaction and system integration are ideally suited for Neal Communities and our growth in these areas,” said Neal.
Storey has over 34 years of industry related experience and at Neal Communities he will be in charge of the company’s new and existing community developments throughout Southwest Florida. Storey’s oversight will also include upcoming Central Park in Lakewood Ranch. His focus will be on continuing Neal Communities’ commanding market share in the value-priced, new home category for first-time, empty-nester and vacation home buyers who seek smaller, more efficient homes.
Prior to joining Neal Communities, Storey spent 10 years as Division President for Taylor Morrison, in Tampa, FL. There he led his division’s growth from 150 to more than 700 closings covering two major west coast Florida markets. He was also instrumental in land acquisition purchases and finished lots for more than 6,000 homes. A State of Florida Certified Building Contractor Storey holds a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from the University of Florida.
