In honor of Bertha Palmer’s 161st birthday historic Spanish Point will offer free admission to all residents of Sarasota County on Saturday and Sunday, May 22 and 23. Meet the “legendary lady” as interpreted by a Living History Performer and enjoy the scenic gardens built by Mrs. Palmer. A special ceremony will be held at 1pm., with members of the Palmer Centennial Committee and your Sarasota County Commission on hand to cut the birthday cake.
