Neal Communities Hosts Real Estate Seminar.
 
In honor of their 40th anniversary, Neal Communities will host a special breakfast seminar session with Katherine Salant. Salant is a nationally syndicated writer of The Washington Post column, “Housewatch.” “Housewatch” debuted in 1994 and has appeared in the Post ever since, as well as in other media outlets and has been honored numerous times by the National Association of Real Estate Editors.

The event takes place Monday, May 24th at 8:00am. There is no charge for the breakfast, which is designed as a way to thank Realtors for their long-time partnership with the home builder. Salant’s topic, “Getting to Yes,” is focused on giving real estate agents tools to help their buyers know what is really important to them in a home. She’ll discuss features that are valuable and attractive in today’s market. Additionally, she draws on her vast experience in the housing industry to discuss important trends influencing the market.

Trained in architecture at Harvard, Salant was a Fulbright scholar studying (and living in) village houses in Nepal. She has been a National Endowment for the Arts Professional Fellow and winner of the prestigious University of Missouri Lifestyle Journalism Award.
