Neal Communities Continues To Ride Sales Wave
Neal Communities Sells 115 Homes So Far In 2010.
Neal Communities has sold more than 115 homes in 2010. Sales continue to be spread over a variety of communities and price ranges—from the mid $100s to more than $1 Million. Over 50% year-to-date were transacted through real estate agents.
The numbers and statistics confirm the national trend which saw April sales of existing single-family homes rise 7.6 percent to an annual pace of 5.77 million units, and prices rose four percent to a national median price of $173,100 (according to the National Association of Realtors®).
“There are still home buyers in this marketplace. We are seeing sales among three of our six key consumer types,” explains Pat Neal, president of Neal Communities. “First time homebuyers, active seniors and first time Florida homebuyers, who will buy a small home here, even without selling their home up north.”
Neal Communities has also created a niche among “hometown heroes,” those who serve the community in public safety, education and health care. “ About 32% of our customers are in this group. They have not been as affected by the economic downturn compared to many others,” adds Sales Director David Hunihan.
In recognition of the growing impact of the internet on home buying decisions, Neal Communities created the new position of on-line sales concierge. Already the response is enthusiastic and Laura Gahan has been instrumental in at least one sale and set many appointments for prospective home buyers to meet personally with Neal new home sales representatives.
