James Hammer To Manage Punta Gorda And Burnt Store Offices.

Michael Saunders & Company has named James Hammar, a longtime Gulf Coast real estate and development professional, to manage the firm’s two newest offices in Punta Gorda and Burnt Store.
 
Hammar, whose management-level experience includes overseeing property development, product marketing and sales coordination as president of his own real estate development firm—as well as conducting sales training and Realtor incentive programs—will assume his new responsibilities immediately. These include managing the firm’s newly opened sales office in downtown Punta Gorda and a second in Burnt Store. He has been a licensed real estate broker and certified general contractor in the State of Florida for over 25 years.
 
“Jim possesses the exact breadth of real estate and management experience we were looking for to help grow these important new offices and recruit the area’s best agents,” said Michael Saunders, company founder and CEO. “Jim is very familiar with Southwest Florida, having worked extensively or developed properties in markets from Naples to Sarasota and Longboat Key. Drayton and I are very excited to have him manage our Punta Gorda teams, where his experience will greatly enhance our strategy for growth in the Charlotte Harbor region.”
 
Hammer, a Pennsylvania native and graduate in marketing from the University of Detroit, was most recently president of SeaTek, a Naples-based real estate development company that specialized in high-end luxury condominiums where  he was responsible for every aspect of the company’s management and operations, including land acquisition, product design, budgeting, market research, employee training and sales coordination. Prior to that he served as a senior sales executive for Kensington Golf & Country Club, also in Naples, where he was responsible for successfully revitalizing sluggish sales by introducing an entirely new product mix, marketing plan and sales team.
