Manatee County Legal Firm To Represent Professional Sports Teams
Pittsburgh Pirates & Bradenton Marauders Select Blalock Walters.
Blalock Walters, P.A., one of Manatee County’s oldest law firms, announced they were selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates and Bradenton Marauders as their legal counsel for the teams Florida operations. Blalock Walters will serve as general counsel to assist with governmental affairs, contracts, and other local needs of the teams.

The Pittsburgh Pirates conduct their spring training at McKechnie Field in Bradenton, which also serves as home to the minor league team, The Bradenton Marauders. The Pirates Charities is the official philanthropic arm of the Pittsburgh Pirates and since its inception in late 2006, has contributed more than $1.9 million dollars to worthwhile projects and non-profit organizations in the Pittsburgh region, Bradenton, Florida and Estorga, Dominican Republic (location of the Pirates Latin American Headquarters).
