University Park Country Club Construction Nearing The End
John Neal Homes Prepares To Finish University Park Country Club.
John Neal Homes, a division of Neal Communities, is completing home construction on the remaining lots within University Park Country Club. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, University Park includes a highly awarded 27-hole, semi-private golf club, tennis and fitness centre, and clubhouse with restaurants. The community is 95% sold out and some of the finest home sites are still available. Homes (including lot) from 2,041 sq ft to 3,161 sq ft now start from the low $400’s.
According to MetroStudy, a leading home building market research firm, sales for homes priced over $450k doubled year-over-year in the fourth quarter of 2010, indicating a growing demand for luxury homes and an increase in consumer confidence. Additionally, the University of Florida’s fourth quarter Survey of Emerging Market Conditions reports improvements in the outlook for sales of new, single-family homes and condominiums, land investment and capital availability, making 2011 the ideal time for the Lakewood Ranch-based builder to begin construction on these types of improvements.
Timing led John Neal, the company’s president, to the decision to finish University Park following news that luxury home sales are on the rise. “I just thought that with so many available lots in the market left over from the previous boom, utilizing existing lots was right for the community at this time,” said Neal.
“University Park is already a beautiful, well-established, non-CDD community and new home buyers will benefit from that,” said University Park Sales Director Dick McLaughlin.
